Be Respectful

As a GHoSt member, we would like you to be as respectful as possible. Not only to your fellow clan members, but also to other players. This doesn't mean you can't trash talk, that's part of what makes the game fun. But constant trolling and continuous use of bad language makes us look bad, and we don't want that. We would like both GHoSt and Voobly to be a fun enjoyable community for all members.

"While we are committed to the principles of free speech, certain activities may be damaging to the resources of both Voobly and our communities and cannot be permitted under the guise of free speech. The resources of Voobly are limited, and abuse of these resources by one user has a negative impact on the entire community."
- Voobly Code of Conduct

Cheating/Hacking

We do not tolerate any type of cheating/hacking, so please don't be tempted to do it. AoM should be a fair/fun experience for all. If you are caught cheating, you will warned first, and if you commit a second offense of cheating, you will be removed from GHoSt (And possibly banned by voobly, since it is a violation of their code of conduct as well). In more serious cases we will most likely skip the prior warning and ban you all together. There are various ways to cheat, but basically, cheating includes any one who uses any trick/program that the opposing player doesn't know about, to gain an unfair advantage over them.

Please check out the Voobly Banning and Rating Policy below if you are unsure, or want more information on the topic.

Point Trading

Point trading is another type of cheating that is not allowed in neither GHoSt nor Voobly. If you are found point trading in GHoSt, you will receive a warning. If you are caught point trading again after the warning, you will be removed from the clan.

"Point trading is the act of using a friend's account, a second account or playing against an account with a certain outcome (e.g. a complete mis-match of skill) to increase/decrease the points of another, in a case where the rating history clearly shows a number of games using that method (no matter if one player or more were implicated in manipulating the player's account). The games played are usually, but not always below 10 minutes, and statistics may show that the game was not played normally."

Smurfing

Unless your main account is already in the clan, we will not be accepting any smurfs. And don't bother trying, we will be checking. Also, if you are caught smurfing into another clan, you will be removed from GHoSt. Loyalty is one of the main aspects of keeping a strong clan together, and by joining another clan, you are proving not to be loyal to GHoSt.
